Happy Sunday dolls!

The sun came out to play today! :) The weather has been so strange lately. Windy and cold and rainy...I was on the verge of turning the heaters on the past few nights but since it's been a busy couple of days we really only had to deal with the cold at night so we just packed in extra blankets to keep warm. And it looks like the weather has finally decided to stop being mean and let the sun come out and play. By the way...these kids are so strange these days! They do not come out and play for nothin! Nothin! LOL When I was a kid we were outside 24/7! Okay....from the time school ended till the street lights went on. :) Good ole days...okay random thought of the day! HAHA

Anyway I actually wrote this (like the one you are reading right now) "blog" a few nights ago on my phone while I was waiting for at a doctor's visit and am just now posting it! :) i deleted the intro since I already provided one. lol Okay, Sorry loves. I'm late but here goes!

I have some updates for you guys but first...

Did you guys get some inspiration from my last blog? Spencer Larson inspired me to get my work out on! A few of my friends are even planning a hike for this weekend! :) Hopefully the weather will be kind to us. I do need a tan!

Okay, updates!

I know I don't have any "followers" on here...Well, 3 (ugh sad!) and I appreciate you all but quite a few of you have reached out to me on my email and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your stories and responses! They mean the world to me and I'm happy and beyond blessed to have you in my life. I got an offer for a job in an email. It's really cool and very exciting and also getting the best of my nerves. :)

There's this man that reached out to me that wants me to be a motivational speaker for his company. It's crazy because when I started my journal I did it so that I could get my message out there that you don't have to be alone when you're going through new journeys. I never in my wildest dreams thought that I'd be talking for a company (in another country!) about transformations and achieving your goals and dreams. It's crazy to me but thank you for believing in me. I really am touched that you have reached out to me and though I'm nervous and scared about being a motivational speaker...I think it'll be a fun adventure. :)

A few of my friends have asked me to do "vlogs" Video blogs posted on YouTube. I don't know how I feel about this. I barely know how to work this blog LOL so for me to actually post a video on YouTube and be able to edit it and do all those technical things would take me forever. If I get a really high demand for them I will think about it. :)

Carolina...I did not forget about my "haul" that I was suppose to months ago. But...the two holidays that I bought all the decorations for have past. :( I'm sorry! Next time I go on a decorating spree I will for sure snap pics and dedicate a blog just for you my darlin! :)

I had like 8 other things to tell you guys but I can't think of em. They're on my desktop at home. :(

Follow your heart today and be your amazing wonderful self. I have faith in you all that you'll do wonderful beautiful things in the world. Make someone smile today, help a stranger even if it only means opening a door for them...be a kind gentle soul!

Till next time,

Hugs and lots of love!
XOXO

Meet Spencer Larson!

I don't think I've ever mentioned this before but I live in exciting Las Vegas! And everyday Monday through Friday along with 2 million other folks, I drive the long drive to work....It is about 45 minutes of a drive mainly because of traffic. On one of the busiest freeways (in the world) Spencer Larson decided to grab my attention...by getting on a stationary bike on top of a storage unit and riding it to set an example. It sounds kind of strange. At first, It was for me too. We have a lot of advertisements in this town. Billboards are EVERYWHERE! And when I first saw Spencer trotting along on his bike in one spot...I didn't think he was a human LOL I thought he was an advertisement. Then the next day...I'm driving along and see him wave to a guy that honked his horn next to me. I was wondering, what the heck is this guy doing? And then I thought...HOW AWESOME! He gets the best view ever! And he gets to show other people how it is done.

So another day goes by and this time I have my eye out for him. I'm getting closer and closer and I see him. and on the storage unit is a banner....   www.1minuteexercisechallenge.com

HOW DOPE IS THIS DUDE?!? Is my first thought! Let me just tell you it is very hard to grasp my attention longer than a minute. I'm the biggest example of what A-D-D is! I already forgot what I was just typing...it's that serious but 20-30 minutes later as I'm pulling into the drive way of my house I'm already grabbing my phone to see what his website is all about! And here I found his youtube link!

http://youtu.be/nzKA8uQWLJg

He works out for 5 hours a day and all he asks is that you do 5 minutes...not a simple 5 minutes but 5 minutes out of your day to work out in an intense way. That is motivation! On his website, facebook, twitter, and even the few articles that fellow news websites have done on him, he doesn't get too wordy with his goals like most fitness gurus do. He has a goal and is just out there showing people it CAN be done! He wants to make a difference. He's not forcing dreams and goals down your throat but at the same time he does lol I know that doensn't make sense but he doesnt say hes going to do this...HE actually does! He just wants you to put the remote down and work out for 5 minutes doing jumping jacks or squats. I'm going to start following him on youtube so I can get the groove of his simple workouts. I did a combination of a walk/jog tonight for 90 minutes and when I got home did a few of his videos...and I could feel the results! :) I know I'm being silly but honestly! Get up! It's easy.

This guy is REAL! He wants to make a difference so let's help him do it. Because by helping him you are really just helping yourself.

Hugs, Love, and Fitness,
Cynthia :)

Update!

I'm officially off my diet. It's been a good long time since I've been off. I did my maintence that I wanted to do...but I'm still taking it pretty easy! I've cheated a few times in the past 2 weeks lol not gonna deny that but what I consider cheating YOU (yes you) do on a daily basis so...fair! we are even. :)

I've been trying to stay active. I haven't joined a gym or signed up for a bikram class like I told myself I would...but I have been out exploring the world....jogging and walking, mostly walking ;) lol and I am OUT OF SHAPE! Man, I remember when I use to be able to run a mile like it was walking down to the fridge and grabbing a Coca-cola! :) like that? haha

Now...I run for a minute straight and am out of breathe....BUT! I have noticed that since I started this little kick that it has gotten easier to do! :) Nice huh? With time, I know that it will be CAKE to run a mile...maybe even 10! and that is very exciting to look forward to.

I've been feeling more confident in myself and brought my friends back to my world again. I was very sheltered and kept to myself a very long time, not because I didn't want to hang out with my friends but because I didn't want to be Debbie Downer and have my friends feeling sorry on me. So, I'm back out and about with them now. I had an awesome last weekend and every weekend in April is booked and more and more things are getting scheduled into my planner. I'm actually planning a "shin dig" very soon as a matter of fact! :)

so...that is the very boring life of Cynthia. I do want to blog some more because I have something very cool to share! But it's about a man that inspired me today!

So...just wait

Hugs and Love

See ya in a min! (A real minute....okay like less than an hour! :) )

Don't let the shit in your past stink up today, tomorrow or the rest of your future. ♥

Oh excuse my french but it needed to be said. Haha <3

Hi Guys,

I'm on a motivational positive kick so I'm gonna throw it out there before I snooze.

Never ever ever let anyone bring you down. No matter who it is...Mom, Dad, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Brother, Sister...If they have anything crappy to say to you and you're on the tracks of success then keep going. Wave your hand high in the air and say tootle-loo (sp?) haha   No but all jokes aside...If you're doing something in your life that you TRULY feel is RIGHT and you believe in 100%...no 150% then keep going towards it and don't let bashers/haters/mean spirits/negative nancy's stop you! Even if they're related to you. I know that's tough...I've dealt with it my whole life.

It seems like I always let someone in my family stop me from following a dream or goal I had because they perceived it as stupid and brainwashed me into thinking I'm stupid for following it. I'm DONE with that ness. And you should be too! I don't care if you want to join clown school or play a guitar in the middle of the busiest street in your town and live in your car at the same time. You have a dream, reach for it and don't stop reaching until you get there and then once you get there keep reaching higher and higher until you are on top of the world....no on top of the MOON!

There's this really awesome quote out there....I gotta find it but heres what I can vaguely remember from it.

They say you can reach for the sky, but people have already made it to the moon and have proof. <3

And if you don't have a support group to keep you strong, find me...message me, phone me, tweet me, facebook me...whatever I will back you up 100% and be your biggest cheerleader to make sure you achieve all that can be done in your life. Nothing is impossible. Life may be short and there may be a ton of obstacles standing in your way but make it worth the ride! Yee-Haw!

Cheers!

I'm obsessed! Marble Water Nail design! Wha wha?!

Have you guys ever tried to "water marble" your nails!?!

It is so super cool. All you need is

Tape
a cup of water (room temperature)
a bunch of cute nail polishes
q tip but for later
toothpick
nail polish remover
clear coat

I really need to put pics up but for now...

get your tape and tape along the lines of your nail...so the top (above the cuticle) and the left and right sides of your nail bed.

then...get the nail polishes (get like 3 or 4 that match) and open them so theyre readily available.

then put a drop of the nail polish in the water and repeat this step with all the nail polishes....the nail polish will absorb into the water and you'll continue putting the drops of polish in there.

Hurry up and get your toothpick and make a fun design but do this gently as the nail polish is drying because of the water....continue to play with it until you get your desired design

then stick your finger in the water slightly under water.

while you let your finger soak up the beautifulness get your toothpick and swirl it around and lift it up...you will see that all the nail polish is getting lifted from the water and onto the brush.

next take your finger out and viola...pretty nails!

when it dries...take the tape off and if there are any parts where the nail polish reached your skin, gently swab if off with the qtip and nail polish remover.

then get some clear coat and you are ready to go with fun beautiful nails. :)

Have a fun day trying this out! :)

Hugs and Love,
Cynthia

I've been Missing in Action...

Hi bloggers.

I see that I've been missing in action. I haven't picked up any new "followers" or anything but I see that I have a ton of page views...so thank you to whoever you are for viewing my page. Don't be shy, I'd love to say hello and thank you for viewing.

I've been missing in action for a little over a week now. That same day that I wrote the blog about it being such a beautiful day actually ended kind of sour. My dad called me a few hours after I had wrote the blog and informed me that my grandfather had passed. I know that he was very sick and old and in a lot of pain but it struck me and I was shocked. I guess even when the time is near, you're really never prepared for it to happen. RIP Nonno. My father's parents are italian. I missed the funeral and I'm so sad about it. Need to get that passport renewed! So...I took over my parents business while they were away and still managed to go to work every day. It was tough and busy but I managed to do so. It was good for me to keep my mind off of that.

But I'm back! and excited to blog again and get back on track!

I don't really know what kind of stuff I should write about. I know I promised Miss Lopez that I would do a haul on all my holiday DIY stuff that I bought from Target, Walmart, 99 cent store, and Michaels...I will find my camera and get those taken care of. I need to talk about my end results of my HCG diet since it is officially over. and um well, I don't know....Hah

Take Care guys!

HUGS AND LOVE!
